Terraria : stake launcher

One of the highest tier endgame weapon you will get in the game "terraria"
it is a rare drop from mourning wood (a mini boss that I wanted to draw but failed for many time in the past. lol)

A slight modification was done on the stake design, Because this is my first attempt on drawing a crossbow and I am not really sure about the release/locking mechanisms of it..
The game sprite supply limited info + my phone can't draw something too complex, so I have to change it into something simple..

(Note the stake is half loaded in this pic, it is my own psychological theory..
that it will give the viewer an urge to pull the stake to the back, thus simultaneously imagine the tension of the string in the viewers head.. ^^")

I used some of the app preset texture and lighting "screen" (is it what the effect call?) in this one.. and yup it really make the pic looks 10X better than the original finished ver, well at the expenses of some detail being masked. XD
